A few weekends ago I traveled just a few miles south east of Baton Rouge to the small town of
Bush, LA. to visit Ponchartrain Vineyards.
Annually, from April through October, the vineyard hosts an outdoor concert series called
Jazz'N the Vines.
For $10, spectators gain admission to the concert and can enjoy samplings of all of the vineyards delectable wines.
And if you're like me, you'll want to purchase one of their yummy white wines to take home..........
Patrons set up shop with picnic baskets and blankets (with some bringing tables, chairs, and even fine china). As the sun sets, the band du jour begins to play...
