Secondhand Sunday #4

A little trip to the thrift store a few days ago yielded some more treasures

I had to have this reproduced 1865 Chocolate Menier advertisement for $3.

I always pick up gift bags at Goodwill. I often find them in excellent (possibly even unused) condition and they run 25 to 50 cents. At a big box store these would cost about $3-$4.

Secondhand Sunday #3

I hit up the thrift and secondhand stores this weekend and found some pretty great stuff.

I loved this nautically inspired GAP shirt, which cost me $14.99

I am always on the look out for baskets because I love to make gift baskets for loved ones. I found this fun green one at Goodwill for $2.00

I have a growing collection of coffee table books. This beautiful coffee table book on Ireland only set me back $1.00 at Goodwill!

Secondhand Sunday #2

I recently picked up two great finds at Meta Exchange (you can read my post about Meta Exchange here).

The first was this beautiful, lined Evan-Picone dress in cherry red for $12.99.

The second was this blue ombre, sparkly tank from Express for $9.99.

I can't wait to pair the dress with some leopard print heels and the tank with some white shorts and gold flip flops once spring gets here.

Secondhand Sunday #1

I picked up this super cool mirror at Goodwill this weekend for only $19.99.

It's really heavy and I'm loving the ornateness of it.

I can't wait to hang it over the buffet in my dining room.

Old Gravy Boat Gets New Life

I picked up this antiqued looking gravy boat at a thrift store for about $1.

I liked the off white color and fading gold trim but wasn't really sure what I would do with it............

After re-decorating my guest bathroom I decided to use it as a soap dish.

I placed two embossed sunflower scented hand soaps in it and voila, instant eclectic feel!

A new and useful life for this thrifty find :)
