Things to do in Baton Rouge: Baton Rouge Little Theater

The Baton Rouge Little Theater (BRLT), one of the oldest and largest community theaters in the United States, is truly a hidden gem in Baton Rouge.
This hard-working and talented community theater produces 150 theatrical performances, workshops, and classes each year.



To celebrate my grandmother's 81st birthday, I took her to BRLT's performance of the British farce, "It Runs in the Family."
The play was fantastic.
I've also attended other plays and musicals at BRLT and they are always fabulous.
The theater recently underwent major renovations, which included new movie-theater-style seating--- super comfy!



During intermission, patrons have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and fountain drinks at the lobby bar.
